Over ninety years, the technologies and designs might have evolved, but the Cloros family’s original dream still shines bright today. Crafting top-notch boots Down Under has always been their mission, and they’ve nailed it.
Fast forward to the year 2000, and that’s when ‘The Mongrel’ was born. Victor, the brains behind the operation, introduced a fresh boot style known as ‘Mongrel’. Back then, you’d only spot it on one type of boot, and it was quietly mentioned on the label on the box. Why? Well, Victor wanted to blend his boot-making expertise with the rich tapestry of Australian heritage.
Believe it or not, this humble idea took off like a rocket. The Mongrel name swiftly expanded into a full-fledged range, and the brand officially became known as ‘Mongrel Boots’ from that point on. Talk about a success story!
