Nexgard Spectra for Dogs is a broad-spectrum dog wormer that works as a major preventive measure against the zoonotic hookworm, Ancylostoma ceylanicum, along with gut worms such as whipworms and roundworms. The oral treatment is also effective for gastrointestinal nematodes. Furthermore, NexGard Spectra treats and controls mange and mites on dogs (demodectic mange, sarcoptic mange, and ear mites).
NexGard Spectra Dogs can be safely given to puppies from 8 weeks of age, weighing 1.35kg or more. It is also safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs. Some flea tablets or worming tablets can be difficult to administer, but NexGard Spectra is a highly palatable beef-flavoured chew that your dog will truly love. Moreover, as it is an oral treatment, so its effectiveness is not affected by bathing, swimming, or shampooing.
